LibreOffice keeps crashing

Recently I started LibreOffice and after a few seconds it crashed. I reopened it, I did nothing with it and it crashed again, and again, in a loop.

I updated it, same issue.

I downgraded it to a previous that I know was working, same issue.

I deleted the application temporary files, preference files, etc., still crashing.

Until I found someone saying that might be an issue with the auto-update check, which would make sense. So I started LibreOffice and quickly went to Preferences… → LibreOffice → Online Update → unchecked Check for updates automatically → Apply, et voilà ! No more crashes, problem solved.

Hope that can be useful to someone and to be safe, don't forget to check regularly for LibreOffice updates.
