What is it?
Google Docs is a web-based office suite. It also allows several persons to work on the same document simultaneously.
Alternatives
- etherpad is an online collaborative editor that you can install on your server. But it seems to be more a text pad than a word processor.
- EtherCalc is an online collaborative spreadsheet that you can install on your server.
- UNG Docs is a full office suite.
- ownCloud 6 has a collaborative rich text editor.
