Future of computing with Oracle

You all know Oracle, one of the biggest company in computing industry, a "leader" in innovation…

If you know a bit more Oracle, you know that their main job is collecting money from their huge licensing fees and their secondary job is buying other companies (Sun, Bea, Hyperion, Tangosol, Siebel, PeopleSoft, TopLink…).

My story here today, is that I tried to use one of Oracle services running Siebel… bought in 2006… and never changed since. So what happened?

Current version of Safari is 5.1.7, current version of Firefox is 13.

I tried the "Continue" button, but it failed at some point.

Of course, the procedure from Oracle staff is: "use internet explorer (6 or 7)" (while all web-developpers in the world and even Microsoft want to kill Internet Explorer 6).

Do I need to remind that Oracle is a computer technology company? They are supposed to help other companies to follow/lead the computing technology industry but they fail to do so for themselves…
